2021 has to be a better year for the shelter in Greece... but we need help

It was a particularly difficult year for the world. Many aspects of our lives were put on hold with uncertainty as to when we would see it get back to normal. We all hope 2021 will be a better year. We wish it for all of us and for the efforts put on hold because of the pandemic. But the needs of abandoned and abused animals didn't slow down, in fact, so many more were abandoned or dropped at the shelters of Porto Rafti, Greece. We support the founders and volunteers with what we can send but more is needed. And the need is constant.

With the pandemic and restrictions, they couldn't have the semi-annual bazaars, which gave them funds for their daily expenses (food, medicine, neutering, cleaning, water). Without it, they rely only on donations.

You can visit our social media sites to read about the work they do and testimonials from people that helped us.

100% of all donations go directly to the founders and volunteers (Kris and Kaiti), not only they donate what they can, they also give their free time and love to the shelter. It is hard to read their texts and emails and not feel their heartbreak with every story and every obstacle they face.

My only wish is to convince you to help them with what you can. Any small (or big!) amount is welcomed and appreciated. You can reach out to me anytime if you have questions or concerns. My email is tanyapapadopoulos@mac.com. Kris is family and I've been personally helping her and the shelter since Jan 2020.

Thank you for your support
